Buoy is an ambient glass pendant and table lamp inspired by the form of nautical floating buoys. The glass material plays a central role in the appearance and design of the lamp, with the glass-blowing process resulting in a naturally curved organic silhouette that Illuminates the room in all directions.
Based in Copenhagen, Aspekt Office is a design studio, specialising in furniture, product, interior design and creative direction. Founded in 2018 by Hans Toft Hornemann and Terkel Skou Steffensen, the designer duo uses conceptual thinking and original ideas in their intuitive approach to design. They combine aesthetic simplicity and high functionality to create enduring products people can relate to. For HAY, Aspekt Office has created the Ono Flush Mount and Buoy Collection.
