Designed for HAY by Serbian Ana Kraš, Ram is a collection of simple yet colourful textile accessories for the home. Meaning ‘frame’ in Serbian, the designs are based around the classic motif of a frame, where the designer uses contrasting blocks of woven colour to create a frame effect. Visually strong yet with refined aesthetics, the collection of cushions, napkins and place mats brings colour to a room and can transform the look of a sofa or table setting.
The Ram Cushion's contrasting rectangular block of colour creates an elegant and classic frame effect around the edge, which the designer has incorporated into the large, pillow-shaped cushion. Made in organic cotton, it features a feather and polyester filled inner cushion that offers comfort and softness whilst maintaining its shape. Available in several different designs, Ram Cushion’s strong yet refined aesthetics can be used to add a modern, vibrant edge to any sofa or bed.
Ram Napkin and Ram Place Mat are made in durable and absorbent organic cotton. Available in several different designs that can be matched as a set or mixed together, they can be used alone or together - bringing strong yet refined aesthetics to any table setting.

Born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1984, Ana Kraš studied furniture design and interior architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Belgrade. In 2013, she moved to New York, where she has continued pursuing various projects in the fields of object design, art, photography, and fashion. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world, and featured in many international publications. For HAY, Ana has designed the Bonbon Lamp, Perla and the Ram Collection.
