About a Collection: Made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic
To reduce the impact on the environment, About A Collection's coloured shells are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, a material derived from household waste, like televisions and washing machines.
The plastic is collected, sorted and cleaned in recycling programmes before being reprocessed into About A Collection shells.
The wooden bases are sourced from FSC-certified forests.
All the chairs and stools feature the EU Ecolabel, which is given to products that meet high environmental standards throughout their entire life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal.
