Based on the original Rey Collection designed by Swiss designer Bruno Rey in 1971, HAY has teamed up with Dietiker to relaunch the Rey Coffee Table. Featuring Dietiker’s unique combination of aluminium cast brackets with wood, the iconic table boasts an uncluttered silhouette with angled legs that balance its distinctively rounded edges. Its simplicity, solid construction, and functional design give it a timeless quality, making it suitable for a variety of domestic, public, educational, or corporate settings. Made with a solid beech frame, the table is available in both original colours and new tones selected by HAY.

Rey Coffee table / Designer

Bruno Rey was born in 1933 Brugg, Switzerland. After an apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker, he studied at the Zurich School of Applied Arts, where he attended classes with the pioneering designer Willy Guhl. He opened his own studio in 1968, working on an innovative chair design that was mass produced in 1971 by Dietiker in Stein am Rhein. 3300 as the chair was originally called, later became known as Rey, the most successful Swiss chair of all time. HAY has collaborated with Dietiker to present the Rey Collection by Bruno Rey, comprising the Rey Chair, Rey Stool, Rey Bar Stool, Rey Table and Rey Coffee Table.
